Preservative for water-soluble technical products

Description
Biopol JM 15 is a highly effective intra-pack preservative for technical water-soluble products such as water-based paints, putties, polymer dispersions, adhesives, primers, sealants, detergents and home care products.

Biopol JM 15 is a CMIT/MIT based, water soluble, broad spectrum biocidal additive containing a formaldehyde donor that provides vapor phase protection.

Application and dosage:
The most optimal dosage of Biopol JM 15 as a container preservative can be determined in our laboratories, however we can recommend a dosage of 0.05% to 0.3% depending on the specific application.

Recommendations for use
Biopol JM 15 is completely soluble in water and traditional solvents. It is stable within pH 3-9 and at temperatures up to 60ºС. We recommend adding the product in the early stages of production. Be careful with pH and temperature. Avoid circumstances leading to strong redox conditions.

— Bacteria fungi and yeast
— Bacilus subtilis Candida albicans
— Escherichia coli Aspergillus niger
— Pseudomonas aeruginosa Saccharomices cerevisae
— Staphylococcus aureus
— Pseudomonas fluorescens

Basic information about storage, safety and transportation
During transportation, Biopol JM 15 is not classified as dangerous goods, but for more careful handling it is marked as an irritant. For other product safety information, see the safety data sheet for that product.

During storage, the product should be protected from freezing, abnormally high temperatures and direct sunlight. Store at room temperature in original packaging.
Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 1 year.
