Scope of application:
waterborne paints and coatings

Properties:
— Kemiline TA 335 is used as a thickener in water soluble systems
— this product offers an easy and convenient method of adjusting the viscosity and has excellent rheological properties
— develops viscosity when neutralizing pH in the range of 7.5 - 10.0

hydrophobically modified anionic alkaline swelling emulsion (HASE)

Application:
we recommend adding a small amount of ammonia 1-3 g/kg to the system and mixing well before adding Kemiline TA 335 as the thickener is acidic. Kemiline TA 335 is injected directly into the system while mixing.
Due to the acidic nature of Kemiline TA 335, a slight decrease in system pH will occur when Kemiline TA 335 is added. If the pH drops below 7.5, no further thickening occurs, so the addition of an ammonia solution must be done to keep the pH above 7.5. It should be noted that a further slight increase in system viscosity may occur during storage.
